Have AC issues? The reason why your air conditioner can’t keep up with the 100 degree heat wave will not make you happy… IT ISN’T DESIGNED TO.
Your A/C is not designed for 100 degrees. There is likely nothing wrong with your system. Your A/C is sized for what the temp is mostly likely to be in the Summer, with the high 80s to low 90s being the norm for our area.
Your AC is designed to cool a maximum of 20 degrees from the outside temperature.
Prevent heat from getting inside by:
- Keeping your blinds closed during the day
- Wait until it’s cooler to do laundry or run the dishwasher
- Change your air filters
- Set your thermostat hight so your a/c unit gets a break
- Spray down condenser with hose.
